Fees, Terms & Conditions
Children must take at least 1 full day per week at both nurseries, but may take half days thereafter, at Grove Park only.
Children aged 3 will receive Government Funding for part of their nursery fees, amounting to £8.87 per 2.5 hour session. Parents can claim a maximum of 5 sessions per week for 38 weeks of the year, spread over the terms stated in the RBWM academic calendar. This payment equates to approximately £1685.30 per year for a full-time child claiming the maximum entitlement; and will be deducted from the invoices accordingly.
Each session can be taken as part of a half day at nursery, so the minimum amount of time a child claiming the full payment spread over 5 sessions, would be 2.5 days.
More details on the government funding and free entitlement for 3-5 year olds are available on request.
Childcare voucher payments can be deducted from these amounts and the balance transferred into the nursery account, to be cleared by the first day of each month.

All of your child's nutritional needs will be provided for throughout the day - there is a sample menu plan under the Nutrition section of this website, and a full menu plan will be issued to new families at the time of signing contracts.
* For children under 1 year old, parents must provide their meals, snacks and milk. There is no price reduction for this, in view of the extra attention and needs that a child of this age has.
Holidays:
Any other holidays taken outside of the nursery closure dates are charged at full fees.
Illness:
If your child is ill and absent, full fee will be due and as much notice requested as possible. Please see the Sickness and Exclusion policy for more information
Refunds:
There will be no refunds for any sickness or other unarranged absence. You will be refunded your initial deposit in full from the final month's fees, subject to the nursery having received four weeks notice in writing.
Payments:
We require a deposit per child to secure a place, which is retained in lieu of any unpaid fees or incidental charges that we may incur on your behalf. The total amount of the deposit is non-refundable if the place is cancelled.
Fees are payable in advance to be received by the 1st day of each month by childcare vouchers or electronic transfer preferably - details issued at the time of signing contracts. Cash is also acceptable, if the previous two methods are not convenient. Cheques are not accepted as payment, other than for the deposit. Receipts are not issued for monthly fee payments, instead, we will sign your copy of the invoice on receipt of full payment, if required.
Late payments:
For payments made after 1st day of the month, we will charge a penalty of £10 per day, at our discretion.
Additionally, if your invoice runs into an arrears situation we reserve the right to withdraw our childcare services until full payment has been made, since the terms of our contract have been violated.
General:
Each child will be offered a free, 2-hour trial settling-in session and may visit accompanied by a parent, for several short visits prior to this.
Charges for any activities outside nursery will be charged retrospectively and invoiced the following month.
A contract, child record form and additional consent forms must be completed by all parties before childcare can commence.
Termination of contract:
We require at least 4 weeks written notice of the termination of our contract
If Little Red Hen Day Nurseries Ltd issues the termination notice, you will be given 4 weeks written notice, with the leaving date along with an explanation.
In both cases above, the final months' invoice will show a balance of payments, including your deposit refund. In either of the above cases, if you choose to withdraw your child immediately, you would forfeit your deposit and any monies already paid for that month.
