I would just like to take this opportunity to say a huge THANK YOU to the Piglet m Staff and everybody else who has looked after my daughter in her first year at Little Red Hen. She thoroughly enjoys nursery and feels so at home with you all. The standard of care, as always, is truly impressive and I am so comforted to go to work knowing what capable hands I have left her in. I think you guys have such a hard job, but you make it look easy, and it is very much appreciated!
Great facilities, well maintained. Option for early drop off, hairdresser visiting the setting monthly. Support and motivation to bi-lingual families
My child is very happy and well cared for at nursery. The variety of food/fruits is amazing (it encourages him to try new flavours and textures). Educational play is very well coordinated, he learns new words and does craft activities every single day.
My daughter has been at Little Red Hen for the last 2 1/2 years and its the best decision I made for her. It’s a joy to drop her off and pick her up as I know she will have a great day and always tells me with such enthusiasm what she did or ate that day as it’s always different. It is such a relief to not worry about her when at work. She particularly likes playing in the lovely outdoor space each day and there are constant improvements/refurbishments being done. All in all a fabulous nursery.
Returning to work was always going to be hard but I was determined to find a nursery my son would enjoy and I would have total confidence in Little Red Hen, immediately gave me this feeling and my son has now been attending for around 4 months. The staff are wonderful and my son loves his keyworker. Everything of a high standard. Food and cleanliness great and they get up to some brilliant activities walks to the airfield, the on-site sensory room and Jo Jingles to name a few. I am over the moon that we chose Little Red Hen, I know my son will continue to enjoy his time here.
My daughter has been attending this nursery for 7 months and she loves it as much as we do as parents. For the first 6 months she was in the Piglet Room and over the last month she moved up to the Tigger Room. Every morning my child is very enthusiastic to go to nursery and when we pick her up she is always very calm, cheerful and well groomed. All the nursery does is for the welfare and happiness of the children and, as a parent, you witness it – from your interactions with staff, to the routines, to the food, to the overall communication. Every day the staff ask how the child was overnight and also share her little achievements, preferences, during the day, as well as possible concerns. They really are the ‘parent’ away from home! When my daughter moved room, the staff made such a good job in the transition that my daughter hardly realised it! The children spend considerable time outside and get plenty of fresh air. Each day focuses on an activity that helps the children grow and I see how well my child develops each week thanks to these activities. I moved my daughter from another nursery (reputable chain) where staff were stressed with profit targets and my child ended up the day unhappy and with messy clothes and snot all over her face. I was referred to this nursery by a friend, who told me to look beyond the outside buildings and to experience the fantastic care and internal facilities! I would like to pass on this advice onto everybody considering The Little Red Hen Nurseries as it truly is a wonderfully caring, fun and didactic environment for very young children!
We have been at Little Red Hen ever since our daughter was 13 months old. She is now 28 months and still loving her nursery. I have recommended the nursery to other parents who now have kids there and they are just as happy the staff are lovely and massively helpful. My daughter loves the food – she has several helpings and the activities (she is usually worn out when she comes home) I’m also very happy with the security procedures in place related to child pick up, for example. All in all a great nursery I can highly recommend.
My son has special needs and we joined Little Red Hen following a bad experience with another nursery who showed no interest in developing him. My experience has been the complete opposite. Staff have taken time to understand what a wonderful little boy he is. They go out of their way to enable him to participate and they share my joy when he reaches new milestones. We couldn’t be more positive about our experience with Little Red Hen.
